KAREN MASTERS

Karen is the owner and director at CS&M. She graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and received her Masters Degree from Emerson College in Communication Disorders. Karen has always worked with the pediatric population but also provides services to adults. She worked with multiple handicapped children at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton, Mass. for several years. She was then hired by the Brookline Public Schools in Brookline Mass. and worked with elementary aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders.
When she moved to NJ, she continued her work with children in the Summit Public Schools. She has been in private practice for over 16 years focusing on the preschool aged child and early elementary aged children. Karen is a Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM) and Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM). She is licensed in the state of New Jersey as a speech language pathologist and certified by the American Speech Hearing and Language Association.
Karen loves the beach, reading, walking her dogs and yoga.
JODI VICCHIO
MS, CCC-SLP, QOM
Jodi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders & Sciences from William Paterson University and a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Montclair State University. For three years following her graduation, she worked at the Pediatric Rehabilitation Hospital of JFK hospital in Edison. While there, she treated a variety of different diagnoses, such as autism, cleft palate, and apraxia, as well as worked with on a team with occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers, child psychologists, and pediatric neurologists. Then, Jodi was hired by the Summit Public Schools primarily as a speech language specialist in the Preschool Disabled program and as a member of the Child Study Team, as well as to provide therapy to elementary students. It is here that she also worked with Karen Masters.
After leaving the public school setting, she joined Chatham Speech and Myo. She currently provides therapy to children mainly 2 through school age, who present with articulation disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, apraxia, auditory processing difficulties, receptive and expressive language problems, fluency issues, hearing impairment, memory difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, and ADD/ADHD. She thoroughly enjoys working here and getting the opportunity to work directly with families in the community. This facility allows her the opportunity to not only evaluate and treat children, but to go out and provide inservices to the local preschools and daycare facilities for parents, teachers, and staff.
Jodi is a certified member of the American Speech Hearing and Language Association (ASHA), a licensed practitioner in New Jersey, and a certification track candidate in orofacial myofunctional therapy. She enjoys attending workshops and continuing education programs to further her knowledge base and interactions with fellow therapists.
Jodi lives with her husband and two sons. She is involved in her community and with her children’s education. Jodi enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her spare time, she also likes to garden, read, and travel.
BRITTNEY COAN,
MS, CCC-SLP
Brittney studied communication sciences and disorders at Marywood University in Scranton, PA where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2017 and a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 2019. She began her career working with the geriatric population and soon after, expanded her scope of practice to pediatrics.

She grew up in Cranford, NJ with her younger sister. She enjoys the beach and going to sporting events! Recently, she welcomed a new member to the family named Noah, a 4 year old yorkie-terrier.

STACEY DELOS SANTOS
MS, CCC-SLP
Stacey received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences with a minor in Psychology from William Paterson University in 2015. She continued at William Paterson University, and graduated with her Master of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences in 2017.
After graduating, Stacey completed her clinical fellowship with Children’s Specialized Hospital’s Early Intervention Program gaining a lot of experience in play based therapy with the 0-3 population. Following, she spent some time at a long term care facility with both geriatrics and pediatrics. She then moved to private practice, and felt that this was the right setting for her. This was where she could work with both adults and children who present with varying disorders/diagnoses including but not limited to: early language, speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, and cognition. Still, it felt like something was missing. She then found Chatham Speech and Myo, and knew this was where she needed to be. Stacey is most looking forward to being trained in orofacial myology so she can continue to provide the best care she possibly can. She strongly believes in personalized care, and advocating for her clients.
As an SLP, Stacey is a lifelong learner and enjoys finding creative and fun ways to help her patients learn. Outside of the office, Stacey enjoys baking treats, crafting with her Cricut, going to Disney World, playing video games, singing at the top of her lungs, and curling up with a good book. She is a big Harry Potter and Disney fan. She also loves spending time with her husband and Shiba Inu pup, Mochi.
SANDY IZSA,
MS, CCC-SLP
Sandy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders and a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology from William Paterson University. She began her career in Speech Pathology in the Clifton Public School system working with both typically developing children and children with special needs. After three years in Clifton, Sandy began to specialize in working with children on the autism spectrum and was hired by the Morris Union Jointure Commission.
In 2005, Sandy opened a private practice where she assembled a team of specialists that worked with individuals on the autism spectrum ages 3 to 21. Throughout her 10 years in private practice, Sandy treated each family as a unique unit and served these families in many capacities. While her specialties included improving individual’s social skills and expanding food repertoire, she considers building a community of support for her families and long lasting friendships amongst her clients to be her most important contributions.
Sandy met Karen Masters in 2008 while promoting her book, Tools for Achieving Social Confidence, at the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Convention. She began her professional relationship with Karen while implementing her social skills programs within Karen’s speech and language practice. Over the years, Karen has become both a professional mentor and friend.
It is Sandy’s passion to provide custom programs to individuals that have limited diets. It brings her great pleasure to help those she works with expand their food preferences creating balanced diets and diets that allow families the opportunity to dine out and attend social gatherings with ease. As Sandy’s public school career comes to a close, she is both delighted and honored to officially return as part of the team at Chatham Speech and Myo.
ESTHER GREENBERG,
BS, RDH, QOM
Esther is a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 20 year of experience in dental care. She is licensed in both NY and NJ and works with several local dental offices. Esther is passionate about learning and returned to school and earned her Bachelors of Professional Studies in Dental Hygiene from the NYC Technical College in Brooklyn. She graduated with highest honors in 2016, Summa Cum Laude.

Through her work in hygiene, she began to notice that her patients were presenting with health issues and Esther began to research possible explanations so she could best help her patients. She discovered orofacial myology and dove right in! Esther realized that correcting oral rest posture along with the function of the tongue and facial muscles could have a profound impact on her patients' lives.

With a passion for learning as much as she could about this specialty area, Esther trained with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT), International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and with Neo Health Services, Inc. She recently earned her QOM through Neo Health which means she passed a rigorous exam and clinical assessment. Esther is also trained in Buteyko Breathing which can be extremely beneficial to patients to treat a variety of health issues.

Esther is thrilled to be practicing Orofacial Myology at Chatham Speech and Myo and we are delighted to have her in the office to learn from.

Esther lives in Randolph and has two children that keep her really busy. Esther loves to read, hike and plan fun adventures for her family. She also does her best to keep things organized at Chatham Speech and Myo which she does really well!
JENNIFER VILL
MA, CCC-SLP
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University in Maryland along with a minor in Writing. She went on to receive her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Kean University.
She began her career in the private school setting working with autistic and multiply disabled children and then became trained in DIR/Floortime. Then, she worked for over five years in a pediatric outpatient hospital performing evaluations and treatment for children with various diagnoses. Jennifer has
also worked in the public school setting delivering school-based evaluations and therapy. She has spent the last several years of her career in private practice providing individualized care to children and working directly with families. She has worked with children with diagnoses such as autism, apraxia, articulation disorders, language disorders, social communication
challenges and feeding difficulties in various settings.
Jennifer is passionate about treating the whole child and delivering therapy that is effective and motivating. She eagerly partners with families in order to provide comprehensive treatment sessions.
She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the State of New Jersey. She is also certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Speech-Language Specialist.
In her spare time, Jennifer loves spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter.
